Evil Ball 10

Evil Ball 10 was one for the books.  I told Randy I wantd to dress up as a 70's chick so naturally he rented an Austin Powers costume.  

I had my make up done by an artist at Taylor Maid.  I had 10 pounds of make up on, at least!

Jenni was dying to get an Evil Ball experience.  I'm so glad she came.  She was the hit of the party.  Arrrrrrrrrrgh!!

Phil's costume this year was a doozy.  Sir Walter Raleigh, aka Joey Watts, brought his A game.

Funniest Costume Award

These two definietly earned the title.

It wouldn't be a party without Gangsters Paradise.  It's his jam.

What a crazy nights full of dancing, acting a fool, and laughing until I cried.  It was just the night out we needed.  

Dominators

Max loved flag football this year, however soccer is his sport.  This year, his little team saw some major changes.  Randy is no longer their coach, Mike Shepherd is and they play on a big field with big goals, and refs.  They learned positions and different strategies as well.  These boys did awesome considering how new everything was to them.  I loved watching Max at striker.  When he breaks away, no one can stop him.  He is so fun to watch.  Here are a few shots from the fall season.

Another change this year was the use of goalies.  All the boys wanted a turn at goalie and Max didn't let anything past him while wearing that orange shirt.

Always biting his fingers...

Perhaps naming their team the Dominators was a bit presumptuous since they only won 2 games this season.  They improved so much though and had so many close games.  Max really impressed me this season with his quickness, knowledge of the game, and willingness to learn.  Although he hates to lose, he never gave up.

This kid amazes me.  So does my mom.  She never misses anything these kids do.  I can barely get myself there and they're my kids!

Blue Ninjas

Sam made his soccer debut with this bunch of misfits this fall.  They named their team the Blue Ninjas and Brett and Randy had the honor of coaching.  Sam has closely watched his brothers play in countless games.  He was so amped to finally get his turn to shine.  Plus his best buddy Tucker is on his team, bonus!

He takes his games very seriously and listens to his coaches very carefully.

Get ready to see some domination by Sammy Boy!

I couldn't stop myself from taking action shot after action shot.  He was just too cute.  His little face was bright red at the end of his games.  He gave 100%.  I never put the other boys in soccer this early and I can see why it's not for everyone.  It's a volatile age and you never know which kid is going to have a melt down at any given time.  There was a game this season that I had the "pleasure" of coaching.  I think I had all eight kids crying at one point.

Through the ups and downs of the team, Sam rose above and proved to be a super star soccer player.  It's hard to believe my baby is old enough to be doing this.
