The kids were out of school last week for fall break. I had grand plans to take the family on a much needed vacation but then I remembered I have a 7 week old baby. It's really hard to do things all together as a family these days. I took all 3 boys to the movie with Kate, Lucy and Isabel and it went much better than I anticipated, although the movie was terrible...note to anyone reading this; NEVER go to the Smurf's movie. The kids seemed to enjoy it though.
Randy took Friday off work and decided to take Max and Hank 4-wheeling. Hank woke up at 6:30 a.m. and got dressed for the occasion. He was shaking with excitement. Randy took the following awesome pictures so I could feel like I was there.
Since when did Hank become old enough to operate his own 4-wheeler? I'm not sure he is.
Max refuses to conform to how everyone else wears a helmet.
Hank has no fear on this machine...it totally freaks me out.
Of course Max was more entertained by throwing rocks and dirt, and jumping off this hill.
This picture says it all.
Actually, this picture says it all...4-wheeling with dad and mud...what more could a kid ask for?
Sam and I enjoyed a relaxing shopping trip to the mall and lunch at California Pizza Kitchen with Kate, Lucy, Isabel, and mom. Sarah was on vacation if you were wondering where she was. It won't be long before Sam will be old enough to join in on the boys only adventures. Until then, he has no choice but to kick it with mama.
On Saturday, Hank became a BYU fan. Randy was beyond thrilled to buy him this jersey. He actually wore it to school today. Max, Sam, and I had a blast at home...going to the grocery store? I really need to up my game if I expect the kids to ever want to hang out with me.

Fall Break totally blew for you, I bet. What...with me out of town and all. Jk jk.
Glad you were out and about- and at least we'll both have eachother when our boys gallavant with their dads. I still think they like our grocery outings- but- whatev.
Best part of this entire post? Max and his helmet. I'm still LMAO!
First, props to Randy for tons of awesome photos! Second, Max didn't want to conform to the norm? Shocking! Third, I'm sure Owen hates hanging with me at various stores as well, mainly Target.
You will just need to get your own 4-wheeler. You are the coolest mom of 3 boys.... you can definitely take them on!!
I do have to agree with Sarah about Max and his helmet. I am STILL laughing!!
ohhh one more thing...
