Lighting Ceremony at The Riverwoods

My kids were so excited to be part of the lighting ceremony at The Riverwoods.  They were a little disappointed they didn't actually get to turn the lights on.  It was cool to see them standing up there and promoting JDRF though.

The MC had a good time teasing them about singing a holiday song.  The boys were secretly freaking out inside.  Good thing they only had to announce the s'more kit fundraiser available that night.

Max was such an awesome helper.  People would purchase the kits and he would hand them out.  How could you say no to that face!

Or that face!  We had so much family support that night.  The Ross, and Jones family were there as well as the Crott's family, the Thomas family, and Phil and Tiff.  Of course my parents were there as well as Scott. And don't forget Griffy!

Scott was the man that night.  He coordinated all the people cooking their s'mores as well as recruiting people walking by to donate.  He stayed the entire night to help us out.

Hank and Colby were running around all evening.  I was so busy selling s'mores I have no clue what they were doing!

I'm happy to report it was a very successful night of fundraising.  We sold 300 dollars worth of s'more kits!  Not too shabby.  The event was capped off by a beautiful fireworks display that nearly gave Griffy a heart attack.  Holiday season has officially begun.
