The kids had 2 weeks of no school surrounding Christmas and New Years. We had to make some sugar cookies before Santa came. Sam was so excited. Hank and Max could've cared less.
Sam cut out 95% of the cookies.
Max endulged me for a couple cookies.
Voila!
Finally we have the snow we missed so desperately last winter.
The kids endured the frigid temps so they could play in the fluffy goodness.
Temperatures in the teens with a wind chill were no joke. The kids convinced Randy to drive them to the nearby sports park to find some untouched powder.
Randy is such a good daddy.
Max's poor face was frozen when we were done. The spray from the snow created little icicles on his cheeks.
The new Star Wars movie came out and we got to experience the madness with our resident Star Wars experts, Jack and Tucker. They had to stop several times to take pictures with their adoring fans!
Max got a cotton candy machine from the Ross family for Christmas.
It's the perfect gift for a diabetic! He's becoming quite the cotton candy making expert. It has been so nice having the boys home. We've spent lots of time together. I'm not looking forward to them going back to school.
