I'm feeling little left out since I'm the only one without a spike. They both volunteered to cut one for me that night. Perhaps the best part of the evening was listening to Wham, George Michael, and Bananrama the entire way home. It was the soundtrack to our childhood and every word to every song came back to me like I listen to those songs every day. I really needed to laugh and be with my sisters. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with both of my sisters. They truly are my best friends and our evening out was just what the doctor ordered. Oh, and John Mayer was fabulous too! No Jennifer Aniston sightings however.

Girls Night Out
Monday, I was feeling very blah and very much like I was in the movie Groundhog Day. I was really in the mood for a change of pace but the only thing I could come up with was flying to Laguna Beach for the weekend. Totally practical since I am such a jet setter! My sisters are both going back to work soon and I'm feeling really sad that our summer is coming to a close. Sarah called me at 5:00 p.m. and suggested we go to the John Mayer concert starting at 7 that night. I called Kate and we all called our hubbies for the o.k. and before I knew it we were in the car at 6 on our way up to Usana. How spontaneous are we? We sat on the grass and we were entertained by all the p.d.a. surrounding us. We couldn't stop starring at the make out session going on in front of us. As you can see from the picture, Kate couldn't even stop staring for two seconds to smile at the camera!

oh, man. i think the dr. is about to order another one of those nights...STAT! want to go to his concert tonight in cali?? i guarantee jen will be there...
oh wait--i forgot i leave for france today to go help angie with the twins.
