Oh The Carney's Were Out!

You have to love the Steel Days Carnival. My dad used to take me and my sisters when we were little and I can assure you Randy and all his rat friends would hang out their every summer. Why take your kids the Disneyland when there is a carnival to attend? Hank had a blast even though he had to ride all the rides solo. All except for one that is...

Randy ran into every Mexican he knew in American Fork and this is one of their daughters. Hank told me he got to ride with a "pretty grill" (girl).
This next picture is tender of Hank and I, however the intention of the picture was to capture the definition of Carney...check out the couple behind us.

Little Max was so good. He was just hanging out in the stroller, waiting for Hank to get done riding. Of course he had his fingers to keep him occupied. His eyes are so beautiful in these pictures.

I just have to say that Randy was the most popular guy at the carnival. It was like a Grease N' Go reunion. Even the thugs hanging out around the snack shop were giving him high fives.

Hank is a champion dart thrower!

We ended the night with a snow cone and one happy 3 year old. It's amazing what you will do and where you will go, to ensure your kids have a fun time. By the way, Hank can't pose any other way than this now days.

The next day we went to the Steel Days Parade to see Isabel and Lucy dance. Hank is such a parade goer. He wouldn't stop waving at all the floats. He was getting really irritated at Sarah for not giving the parade her undivided attention.
