Holiday Spirit?

Today the kids and I tried to finally get into the holiday spirit. I am in need of an attitude adjustment when it comes to Christmas. I'm just not that into it this year so Hank and I decided to write a letter to Santa to get us excited for Christmas. Hank told me what to write and he asked for a skeleton shirt, a monster truck, and the big blimp at the end of the cars movie. Random I know but I'm quite impressed with the small amount of things he is asking for. We also wrote Max's letter and Hank wanted to include that Max has been just a little bit naughty. Apparently Max wants a skeleton shirt like Hank's. If anyone knows where Santa could get a skeleton shirt this time of year, please let me know so I can tell him.

We bought a gingerbread house kit today as well. It's been a little tradition for me and Hank the past two years. He usually puts four or five candies on and then he's done but each year he's a little more interested. This year he told me it looked perfect. He said "Good job mom, I'll get you a trophy". Finally, a trophy for my efforts! He is saying the most hilarious things these days. Most of them are too inappropriate to write but he did say that the Cog on Toontown screwed him today. I'm so proud. I've passed on my potty mouth to at least one of my children so far.

The Masterpiece

As for Max, my little bruiser, he just discovered the joys of sitting up to the counter. He thinks it's great, probably because it's the most dangerous place for him to sit. He is constantly falling and hurting himself in some way. In fact, as I've been writing he fell and bit through his bottom lip and is bleeding all over. The freaky thing is, he cries for about a second and he's over it. Now he's sucking the blood from his lower lip and saying "mmmmmmmm". My little vampire!

I'm rambling now, but back to my original point of trying the feel the holiday spirit, it's still not really happening for me. Oh well, we had fun pretending!

Cog's do screw you on toontown. Does Hank know that Grandpa Griff is now addicted? Maybe we could send Colby, Hank and Griff to rehab. And that picture of Max is SOOO FUNNY, I want to pinch him.

Time out, that was the cutest blog ever! You should post every single inappropriate thing that he says. I'll even post one, the last time I was at your house... like 400 years ago he couldn't get the Fox and the Hound out of the container, and he was like, " oh crap!" I nearly died. I miss your little ones and you!

I am with you about not feeling the Christmas spirit. I'm even trying to listen to Christmas music and it's not helping. :) At least you have Hank to help get you into Christmas.
