I love music, I love concerts, I love hip hop, I love R&B, and I love things that are free. Put those ingredients together and you have the recipe for a great night. Randy found out one of my favorite MC's was in town, so thanks to him I witnessed Q-tip live. I've been a fan of Q-tip since his days in A Tribe Called Quest. He has such a unique style and flow, he speaks to my soul. He exceeded my expectations last night. Good times were had by all! Randy is such a great sport to come with me. Kudos to the Salt Lake City Arts Council for putting on a great free concert.
The Renaissance is his latest album, and very worth the nine years we had to wait for it. He collaborates with two of my favorite soulsters, D'Angelo and Raphael Saadiq making it my pick for the best hip-hop album of the year. DJ Wanksta highly recommends it!
