It's official, Hank is 5 years old and too cool to hold his mom's hand at a class field trip. In fact, he pretty much stayed 10 feet in front of me the entire time. It could be due to the fact he had two cute girls riding in our car. I know deep down he was happy I was there...right guys? He was acting pretty calm and cool next to Savannah and Erin.

This is his buddy Logan. It's too bad they won't go to the same school next year. I love watching Hank come out of his shell and interact with his friends. He was so shy last year and now he has so much confidence and independence.

He might have a little crush on Erin. My favorite part of the day was listening in on their conversations. My little boy is growing up. It's a good thing right?

No No No. Hank can't love Erin.
Erin's mom has had kids in my class. She is way involved and her kids like her. Definite potential there for the in-laws to drag Hank away.
Just thought you'd like to know.
It makes my head spin to think of the fact that Hank isn't that far away from the age of my first graders! So big. Yet, in the grand scheme of things he is still so so small. If you ever want to remember he is still little...walk down the hall at an elementary...he'll look like a wee baby.
At least when our boys get TC for us, we can hold each other's hands. I'll even sip Capri Sun with you if you want.
Ok, ok. So I was wrong about knowing Erin's mom.
I still think we should do something to eliminate their relationship.
well at least he was hanging out with the cute girls. it could have been a beastly little thing, but at least the boy's got taste.
But how precious would it be if he married one of those little ladies and then you could put that picture in their wedding video. (Note: I only think about wedding videos all day)
NO! Our boys can only marry orphans, remember? No crazy in-laws to take our baby boys away. So unless Erin is an orphan, it's a no-go!
