Wankier Christmas Party

We enjoyed our annual Christmas party with the Wankier family in the comfort of Chris and Missie's beautiful home this year.  My adorable grandparents had the event catered by Magelby's and I had a wonderful time catching up with my cousins.  Sam felt the love for sure.  First from his great grandma.

Then from his great Grandpa Sherm.  I am so grateful they have a chance to hold him and love him as often as they want.  I am really missing my Grandpa Karl and Grandma Joanne this holiday season.  Being around these two definitely eases that sadness.
Kate snagged him up as well.  Sam loves his auntie Kate.

Apparently my grandpa missed the memo to wear a plaid shirt like the cool kids at the party!
It was such a relaxing dinner, mostly because Chris and Missie's house is a haven for children.  There were at least 15 kids present but we hardly heard them.  They were so entertained.  I heard Michael Jackson downstairs and discovered what was keeping them so busy.

The Michael Jackson Experience on the WII created this dance party.  I felt like I walked into a music video!  I couldn't believe how well the kids picked up on the moves.  I later realized it was much harder than it looked.
It's not nearly as cute when I shake my booty.
Sarah, my cousins, and I all had a turn on the dance floor.  Sorry no photo's of that...it was fun though.  I think this is a game we need at our house.  It might be just the thing we need mid-March to put Sarah into labor!

Cy stole the show and my heart.  This kid has got some serious rhythm.  I could watch him dance all night.

These two gave quite the performance with the perfect dance off to "They Don't Even Care About Us".  I have it recorded for our posterity.  Good times, good times.
It was such a great night with my family.  Chris and Missie are like my 2nd set of parents.  I am so blessed to be so close to all of my extended family.  My grandparents did a marvelous job organizing this get together.  It put me right in the holiday spirit.

Really? On top of having pictures taken today... you get ANOTHER blog post in? I'm just going to start copying and pasting your posts into my blog...then when I print my books(that I never print) I'll have some recollection of this year!

Just thinking of dancing again about put me into labor... it would most definitely do the trick come March!

Our grandparents are too cute. Can't stand it.
