Brotherly Love

Life with 3 boys means lots of kicking, punching, arguing, and fighting.  Despite all of that, there is some major love between them.  Sam really is the glue that holds these bros together.  He came to Hank's doctor's appointment and proved to be our good luck charm.  Hank's A1C went down to 7.0!!  I'm so relieved.  Managing his diabetes is such a challenge and is a 24/7 worry.  Hank makes my job so much easier by being so responsible and independent.  I have to give him most of the credit for this awesome A1C.  Sam kept the mood light while we awaited Hank's  A1C results.

The boys made about 10 slo-mo videos while we were waiting for the doc.  That's exhausting work.

Max finally lost his front tooth thanks to Sam's elbow!  I guess their non-stop wrestling is good for something.

The first thing Sam said was "you're just like me Max"!  Hooray for my toothless wonders!

I had to document Max's amazing jacket.  He was annoyed by my picture taking so Sam jumped in to make him feel better.  These two are best friends.  This leads me to my next series of pictures.  Hank requested his own room but doesn't want to move downstairs yet.  This forced me to get rid of my baby furniture and move Hank into Sam's old room.  Sam and Max were so excited to share the bunk beds.  I sold my changing table, crib, and rocking chair in one day on KSL.  It was a such a bittersweet moment.  On to the next phase of life.

We spent the day at Ikea and the entire night putting everything together.  That dresser was no joke.  Good thing it was Randy assembling it.  I would still be working on it.

Here's the finished product!

Sam is on the top bunk and Max is on the bottom.  It took a few nights to get them to settle down at bedtime.  They were laughing and so hyper for hours before they would fall asleep.

I supose Hank is old enough to have his own space.  I love how his room turned out.
