Last Season as a Card

Hank's time as a Cardinal is sadly over.  He's played with this team since he was a little 2nd grader.  It's been so fun watching him develop as a player over the past 3 seasons.  I know he wants to play super league but there's just something about city league.  He truly was the star of the team this season, playing all the tough positions and leading off the batting order.  Watching him play makes me so happy.

He became so confident with the bat, getting a hit almost every time he got up.  The Cardinals went undefeated in regular season play!  They ended up finishing 6th in the tournament and qualifying for the State Tournament.

Hank always has incredible fan support but my parents didn't miss a single game this season.  They love to watch him play almost as much as I do.

He loves having them there and so do I.

I can't forget to mention his sweet bros.  They came to every single game to cheer him on.

Baseball games can be brutally long especially when there are double headers.  Sam and Max never complained.

Cute Izzy!

All ready for the State Tourney!

Unfortunately we had to travel to Payson for all the tournament games.  It was hot and windy, not a good combo for Mr. Sam.

We played 3 close games winning 1 and losing 2.  The last game was a heart breaker.

It's hard to feel too bad when Hank played his best game of the entire season.  He gives it his all in every game and I couldn't be more proud.

These beautiful ladies made the trek to Payson for every game.

He'll still hug his mommy after a hard loss.  I love my little baseball stud!  Only a few months until fall ball!
