Last week brought some major changes to our home. Despite my efforts to slow the whole growing up process down, my kids couldn't be held back any longer.
After more than a week with an extremely loose tooth and a mom who insisted on keeping it in just a little while longer, Hank finally pulled it out himself!
I resisted getting Max a big boy bed for several reasons. I pictured him roaming the house all night, never taking a nap again, and more importantly no longer being a baby. As I rocked him to sleep and hoisted his 30 pound body into his crib, I realized it was time to get this 3 year old a real bed. He has far exceeded my expectations. He is so happy to have a big boy bed he can hardly wait for bedtime. Max loves it, never gets out, and still takes a nap every afternoon!
Apparently I am the only one upset about them growing up.

Oh man! I hope the Tooth Fairy brought Hank something good. Also, please tell Max to move over, because I can't wait to sleep in his totally cool big kid bed!
Actually I'm a bit riled up about all these changes!!! Slow down!!!! I would, however be happy if Hanks smile stayed just like it is, one tooth gap and all, for at least 5 more years. Love that kid. Oh, and where to start with mino head? I sorta want his pad. His room is darling and love his obsession with sleep... Nothing like a nap at 11 am!!
