Dog Lovers

I posted this picture of Sam and our neighbors dog, Rambo a few months ago.  At the time, Sam was my only dog loving son.  I fully expected that to be the case forever.  Hank was terrified of dogs and Max didn't like them just because of Hank's reaction to them.  When my new neighbors moved in with their dogs, they were certain they could transform my kids dog hating ways.  I was skeptical but over the past month, proven completely wrong.
It doesn't hurt that these dogs are awesome with kids.  Max has met his soul-mate in Rambo.  They simply get each other.  It is adorable to see.

Max loves to play tug of war with Rambo and feed him ice cubes until he shakes from the cold.

Hank and Honey have developed a cute bond as well.  This picture proves that Hank has officially conquered his fear of dogs.  A kid who is scared of dogs would never attempt pulling a toy out of their sharp grasp.  He loves playing catch with Honey.  He is so protective of her.  She recently had surgery on her knee and he is so aware if she is favoring it at all.

I'm not quite sure what Isaac was thinking when he allowed my kids to help give Rambo a haircut.  They loved pitching in and making him look like a lion.

Thanks to Issac and Natalie, my kids won't stop talking about getting a dog of their own.
There is just something special about a boy and a dog.  It's got me thinking a family dog may not be a bad idea.  Hank needs to get over his dog poop phobia before that can happen!
