My Beautiful Sam Turns 3

Three years ago Sam came into my life and our bond was instant.  We've been obsessed with each other ever since.  In fact the obsession gets more out of control with each passing year.  Sam provides such an important dynamic to our family.  It's safe to say, I'm not the only one who is in love with Sam.  He has such a beautiful bond with his "bro's".  When I'm not around he will give Randy his love and attention, but only when I'm not around!  He is the definition of "mama's boy".  We've had some pictures taken this summer to illustrate my point.

I just can't imagine life without my best buddy.  Now that the kids are in school all day, I have even more time to bond with my sweetie.  He pretty much owns me.  Whatever Sam wants, Sam gets and he's turning into quite the diva.  He absolutely hates when I wear my hair in a pony tail, so what do I do?  Take it down,  Yes folks, that's right, he tells me how to wear my hair.  He also tells the boys what video game to play and what T.V. show to watch.  There is something about that face we just can't say no to.

I mean come on!

Don't let his angelic face fool you.  This kid loves him some heavy metal.  I mean his favorite songs are by Metallica and White Zombie.  Only my kid would request such head banging tunes! It actually fits in perfectly with his love of all things WWE.  He is shockingly good at the game Minion Rush and can navigate Netflix like a pro.  He is currently on a  Peppa Pig and Doc McStuffin's kick.  Sounds like all this kid does is play games on my phone and watch shows....not entirely inaccurate sadly.  Being the youngest in a busy family means you have to entertain yourself during long games and school functions.  He's always been good to roll with whatever we are doing.  Max and Hank's friends love Sam.  He's like a celebrity when he walks into the elementary school.  Sam knows all of them by name too.  He loves spending time with his cousins and luckily most of them live close enough that we can see them almost every single day.  We can always count on Sam to make us laugh with the funny things he says or his hilarious wrestling moves.  His "finisher" is something to behold.  But perhaps my favorite thing about my little 3 year old is how loved he makes me feel.  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't hear "mommy, I love you" about 20 times.  Don't get me wrong there are moments where love is the last thing I feel from him but for the most part, he's my little love.  We have a relationship I'm sure his future wife is going to hate!!  Happy Birthday my little angel baby love!
