The Never-Ending Day of Fun!

Yesterday was action packed! My day began at 6 A.M. and concluded sometime around 3 A.M. this morning. Rusty, Collette, and Rick were in town for a bachelor party for Rusty and a bridal shower for Collette. The first item on the agenda was the Lehi Round-up parade. Although Rick was too cool to ride on the JRI Insurance truck, Rusty, Collette, Jenni, Dyson, Colby, Jeri, and Scott braved the heat the crowds to show their support. The otter pops were a huge hit, you would've thought we were throwing gold bars from the truck.

I love when Hank wears his hat like that!

Max was occupied by pretzels for a few minutes, then he was trying to jump off the back of the truck.

Hank wouldn't let Dyson get too far away from him.

After the parade I had time to get the food ready for Collette's bridal shower. I'm so glad I could do this for my future sis-in-law.

Annie, Jeri, Jenni, Grandma Reid, Grandma Griffin, Collette, Susan, Tonya, Erica, and Darcelle

My good friend Darcelle made this beautiful cake for the occasion. It was painful to cut into a cake so beautiful, but it was delicious.

The food was also scrumptious...if I do say so myself.

Suzie came all the way from Logan. It was so fun to see her. Once the shower concluded, the boys came barging back to the house with sacks of food and drinks and quickly booted the girls from the premises. While the boys were having their bachelor party, Jeri, Jenni, Suzie, Collette, and I went out to dinner. My sweet mom kindly watched the kids overnight so they wouldn't be bothered by the loudness of the Griffin boys in action. I came home to the most intense session of Guitar Hero I've ever seen! It was hilarious! I love to see the brothers together, having a great time. It doesn't happen often enough. Only 11 more days until Chicago! I'll need that long to recover from yesterday.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to switch my insurance from JRI due to the super soaker that aimed for my small infant and anialated me in the process.
Luckily, you have two boys sporting baseball hats on that same float, who lured me back to sticking with the boys from JRI.

Sounds like a lot of fun. It's been a long time since I stayed up past 10pm ahh the days of youth:)

Yeah for fun times with the Griffin side! Do you see me trying to hide my non-JRI shirt in the background? Thanks for your hospitality!
