A Fabulous Flag-Football Season

Another fantastic flag-football season has come to a close.  Hank's epic shiner happened two days before team pictures.  He was quite pleased about that.

He really wants to play tackle football but he's going to have to put up with flag football awhile longer.  They had such a great little team this year.  Most of these kids have played together before.  I'm pretty sure we went undefeated on the season but you'd have to ask Coach Griffin the stats to be sure.  I noticed Hank dominating on the defensive end more than he has in seasons past.  I guess all the Madden he plays is helping him read defenses better!  He really was all over the field and so entertaining to watch.

This group of kids are full of personality.  They had such a blast together.

Hank and K.J. are demonstrating "the Tebow" pose.

These kids are pretty lucky to have such fun, positive, coaches.  They take it just seriously enough to be competitive but still manage to have a great time and keep it light hearted.

Hank had many spectators over the course of the season as always.  I marvel every season with the tremendous support our family receives.  My mom, bless her little heart didn't miss a game all season long.  She endured wind, freezing rain, and frigid temperatures.  She is so dedicated.  I love her so much and so does Hank.

This isn't a great picture since Hank is chowing down on a doughnut but it's all we got!  I am so proud of my little Hankster.  He gives 110% every single game.  He has this intense need to be successful in everything he does plus he is extremely competitive.  Make no mistake, he is a force to be reckoned with.  I don't think most people realize he is dealing with diabetes while doing everything he loves to do.  It's so commendable and I'm so freaking proud of him.  I love to watch him play.  Basketball starts next...my personal fave!

He donut in the mouth! Best picture ever....reminds me of my own rat days. Hahahahaha. It was insane to me how much more intense and legit football was this year! I mean...they were awesome last year, but dang. Think you're gonna have to get used to football injuries, sis....sorry to say it. He's too good!
