A Spontaneous Day With my Boys

I love spontaneous summer days with my boys.  After their haircuts we decided to go to lunch and get some ice cream.

The day was still young and we were in the mood for an adventure.  What says adventure like the Steel Days Carnival?

Sam loved every single ride, as you can tell.  The kid has got the art of picture taking down.  I've trained him well.

Hank and Max had no fear on Fireball.

I'm grateful the rides functioned properly and didn't kill my children.  Carnival rides freak me out.

The kids had a blast.

Sam and I opted for a more relaxing carousel ride.

As we were walking away from the carnival the boys spotted the bungee trampoline.  I'd already spent more money than any human should at the carnival.  But, we were having a spontaneous day and I was having fun being a yes mom for once.

Hank was first up.  I couldn't believe the air he got!

Max was a little more cautious but soon got the hang of it.

Life is too short.  If you have a chance to pull over to a city carnival and waste the entire day there, I highly suggest it.  I need to have more days like this with my boys.
