Man it's nice to have family with access to cabins. Scott and Jeri invited us up to their cabin over the 24th of July and there's no way we were passing up on that adventure. Jenni and her kids as well as Rick were also able to join us.
We spent lots of time on our 4 wheelers.
Duck lips anyone?
S'mores!
Lennon and Sam were just about as cute as you can imagine. They named their favorite chipmunks as they fed them all weekend.
I don't mind waking up to this precious face every morning.
Randy and I were able to sneak away one morning to enjoy a gorgeous hike together. Shirts optional!
Got milk?
I think I've created a monster in Sam. He loves the camera maybe a little too much.
He insisted on a private photo shoot.
Followed by a tantrum. Oh the life of a 3 year old.
Jeri took all of us on a scavenger hunt one afternoon.
We tried our hardest to get a picture of everyone...
Sam was in rare form. Then Lennon had a melt down.
Then we got distracted by a moose.
That's about as good as we got.
Poor Jenni, sprained her foot two days prior to the cabin. She kept a smile on her face and hobbled along in her boot.
Max is the perfect 4-wheeling pal. He has an eye for moose.
On this particular ride we got up close to this massive beast.
To see a wild animal in it's natural environment is pretty cool.
Keeping that foot elevated!
The boys love hanging out with their uncle Rick. What better way to bond than a game of poker?
The mornings at the cabin are pretty spectacular. Max opted for sleep while the rest of us rode.
He woke up ready to ride! I can't believe how much he's improved on the 4 wheeler since last year. I'm not nearly as nervous watching him.
The weather couldn't have been better. It is so peaceful up there and Jeri and Scott take such good care of us. I didn't want to come home!
I'd say that's a sign of a great weekend. Hank was passed out!
