We had a few weeks of birthday celebration that are worth mentioning. My dear Grandpa Sherm turned 85! We had a big party in his honor at Riverside.
Never has there been a more tender hearted, kind soul. He is so loved by all of us.
With my birthday up next, I enjoyed a shopping trip with my favorite ladies. We had a blast finding cute outfits for my upcoming Mexico trip. Unfortunately we passed on the fabulous flower headbands.
Speaking of flowers, my mom and dad didn't disappoint with my gorgeous birthday arrangement.
Randy planned a fun party with the Griffin clan.
I was pretty lucky to have Kane help me blow out my candles. I can't believe the number on that cake. It's unreal that I'm that old.
I really wanted to get a cute picture with my man. Rusty snapped these gems.
The last two pictures are my favorite. Randy really went above and beyond to make my day, scratch that, my life wonderful. I am the luckiest girl on the planet. I can't wait to spend time with him in Mexico in just a few short days! Our upcoming trip definitely takes the sting out of getting a year older.
The birthday celebrations continued the following day with an early birthday party for Owen. He really wanted to have a birthday party with his cousins while they were in town.
There wasn't a shortage of cake consumption that weekend! After Owen's party we headed to my mom and dad's house to celebrate my dad's birthday.
Sam was obsessed with wearing the ribbon from the gifts on his head.
In his mind, he looked like a fierce ninja warrior.
To everyone else he looked like a beautiful princess!
My parents patio is the perfect spot for a party. No one ever wants to leave the peaceful ambiance.
And yes, Tucker and Jack are twerking in this picture. I'd say that's the best way I can wrap up my birthday post. Here's to another fantastic year. I'm not holding back one bit. Life's too short to sit on the sidelines.
