Green Poison

The Green Poison wrapped up their season a few days ago.  I'm so proud of Max.  He amazes me with his speed and desire to always do his best.  I'm also relieved he stopped throwing a fit if he didn't score a goal this season.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from this spring.

In true spring soccer form, we had a wide range of weather conditions to contend with.  We had scorching hot games and one game in particular with a torrential downpour.

Such a manly polka dot umbrella for Coach Griffin.

Grandma Jackie is definitely not a fair weather fan.

Sam was freezing!

I couldn't believe these kids wanted to play through the rain.  They took refuge under the umbrella for a few quick seconds between plays.

The other team wasn't quite as excited about the conditions as we were and left mid game.  Our boys continued to play against each other for the remainder of the time.  Hank even got in on the action.

What would a sporting season be without incredible fans.

Randy has been such a great coach for these boys.  They love to play largely because of him.

I can't believe how grown up they look.  I failed to get a picture of Max's #1 fan, ME!  Just know I was the one taking every single one of these action shots.  It was such a great season.
