Dry Creek Walk-a-Thon

I just can't seem to resist helping out when I hear there's a walkathon coming up.  I was on the committee for Dry Creek Elementary's first walkathon and it turned out to be a great event.
Hoot's the Owl showed up to get the party started.

Sam was so happy to get some one on one time with him.  We even had a DJ there to keep the kids moving.  First up was Hank and the rest of the 4th graders.

Sam loved running with Hank and all his friends.

I guess when you're in 4th grade you don't really care about how many laps you do.
We had a few other grades until Max and the 1st graders came out so Sam decided to run with everyone.

Future cross country star?  I got such a kick out of watching him run lap after lap.

Finally his best bro Max came out to run with him.

Such a little stud.

Seriously mom, stop taking my picture!

Although the school didn't raise as much money as we had hoped, the kids had a great day, and so did I.
